Well, well...a lot has happened in two years! The Antelope Lodge is still beautiful...has the prettiest courtyard in town...and is it's own little piece of heaven.  Not to mention a lazy blogger...!

I'll get some new photos posted and keep everyone up to date on the goings on around here. Right this minute I'm trying to determine if we are in store for any rain. My head tells me yes...and the sky to the south was stormy blue a little bit ago. 

We are planning a fun filled 4th of July out here. Lots of great food, some fun folks to jaw with...maybe a little music to calm the savage beasts. Food will be ready around 6...but if any of you artists and craftsmen would like to set up in the Courtyard for the afternoon (and evening) please give me a call and let's do it! Maybe some work in progress? Show off!! Why not!'

Just another day in paradise...

Another beautiful day in Alpine, Texas.           

And a busy weekend coming up. Lots of author's coming into town for seminars and conferences and staying over for the Way Out West Texas Book Festival.
